Stoking The Inner Fire
With Swami Krishnapremananda
January 27 - 31, 2027
Self-empowerment and Inner Nurturing
The end of January can be a low point for our energies; we’re still in the midst of Winter, the days are short, and the promise of spring feels elusive. Hence, this retreat offers a dual focus. Firstly, yogic techniques that raise our spirits and boost our energy and vitality. Secondly, practices and sharing that can nurture the heart and remind us of our innate connection with Life, and the wisdom of patience and self-nurturing.
At the core of this retreat is the focus on awakening and balancing the Manipura chakra, also known as the solar plexus or naval center. This vital energy hub governs our personal power, motivation, and sense of self. A well-balanced manipura chakra supports the flow of prana (life force energy) throughout the body, enhancing overall energy and confidence. This inner fire is what gives us the courage to face life’s challenges, the focus to pursue our goals, and the spark of creativity that promotes positive change and growth. Alongside this, the retreat equally honours the nurturing of the heart space so that we can cultivate meaningful self-care, and tenderness during the winter months.
Practices will include guided meditations, gentle yoga sequences, and contemplative exercises that invite you to embrace your feelings with kindness and allow deeper
healing to unfold. Whether you are looking to build energy to meet winter with renewed strength, seeking warmth and comfort through heart-centred practices, or hoping to deepen your yoga and meditation journey with the support of a skilled teacher, this retreat offers a rich and welcoming space for transformation.
By the end of the retreat, participants often describe a profound shift, a rekindling of vitality and a deepened connection to their inner source of strength and peace. This balance between igniting the inner fire and nurturing the heart creates a foundation for resilience that can carry you through the Winter months and beyond. You will leave with practical tools and embodied wisdom that can be integrated into daily life—supporting ongoing vitality, emotional balance, and spiritual growth.
