About This Retreat

Discover practical meditation techniques from the ancient Vigyana Bhairava Tantra, designed to bring insight and presence into everyday life. Written over 1,000 years ago, these teachings guide you effortlessly into meditation, transforming daily moments into opportunities for awakening.

Meditation in Every Moment

At the heart of yoga lies the invitation to insight, a moment of profound inner revelation where the veils drop, and we glimpse the true nature of our being. The Vigyana Bhairava Tantra, a classical tantric text composed over a thousand years ago in Kashmir, is a direct portal into that possibility.

Its title carries the essence of the teaching itself: Vigyana means insight or direct knowing, and Bhairava refers to the underlying Reality, the timeless presence that underlies all form and experience. Together, they point us toward the direct experience of the infinite, here and now.

What makes this text extraordinary is its radical practicality. It offers over 100 meditation techniques that are immediately accessible and deeply transformative, not abstract theory, but lived, embodied doorways into stillness. These are not practices reserved for isolated retreats or ideal conditions; they are designed to be integrated into daily life. A breath, a sound, a moment of joy or pain, a glance, a heartbeat, all become opportunities for awakening.

This course offers a rare opportunity to explore the direct teachings of the Vigyana Bhairava Tantra in a supportive and immersive setting. Each day, we will engage deeply with selected practices from the text, grounding them through meditation, hatha yoga, chanting, yoga nidra, and kirtan. The emphasis will be on cultivating the ability to return again and again to presence, using the practices as tools for continuous inner awakening.

Rather than focusing on complex philosophy, the emphasis here is on direct experience. The approach is subtle, intimate, and potentially life-changing, inviting a shift in how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world.

This immersion is intended for those with an established practice, seekers who are ready to go deeper into the subtleties of tantric meditation. Whether you are returning to these teachings or meeting them for the first time, you are warmly invited to join us in exploring what it means to live a life rooted in presence, where every moment becomes the practice, and every breath holds the possibility of awakening.
